Uploads and Service Status

My upload fails, stays at 0%, or does not finish

Do these checks in sequence:

  1. File size. Each plan has a size limit for one file. If your file is too large, the message "File size exceeds the user plan limit" shows the limit of your plan. Make the file smaller, or open it in iJewel Playground and export a compressed GLB file.
  2. Number of models. Each plan has a limit for the number of models in your account. If your account is full, delete models that you do not use. See How do I delete files.
  3. Extra objects in the file. Remove curves, lines and points that are not part of the jewelry from the 3DM file. Then upload the file again.
  4. Rhino version. Save the file from Rhino 7 or Rhino 8.
  5. Number of files. You can upload up to 1000 files at one time.

If no file uploads, also from a different browser, see Is iJewel3D down?.

For help with the 3D file itself, see Preparing 3D Models.

Is iJewel3D down?

The team announces maintenance and service updates in the announcements channel on the iJewel3D Discord. Read that channel first.

Before you report a problem:

  1. Open the page in a private browser window.
  2. Try a different internet connection, for example the mobile data of your phone.
  3. Read the announcements channel on Discord.

If the problem continues, contact support and give the page address, the time, and a screenshot.

iJewel Design: "You have reached the limit of your plan for private projects"

Each iJewel Design plan has a limit for private and unlisted models. This message shows when that limit is full, also when you have space for more public models.

To upload the model, set it to Public, or make one of your private or unlisted models public first. The iJewel Design pricing page shows the limits of each plan.
