Bloom

Bloom adds a glow effect around bright areas of the render, simulating how intense light bleeds in a camera lens.

This effect is especially powerful for diamond and gemstone jewelry — it makes bright reflections and sparkles appear to radiate light, just like they do in real photography. Use it to enhance the brilliance of stones, create dramatic hero shots, or add a luxurious feel to your renders. A subtle bloom can make the difference between a flat-looking render and one that feels alive with light.

Where to Find It

Settings

Enable
Checkbox — toggles the bloom effect on or off
Threshold
Slider — brightness threshold above which bloom is applied. Only pixels brighter than this value will glow
Soft Threshold
Slider — softens the threshold transition so bloom fades in gradually rather than appearing abruptly
Intensity
Slider — controls how strong the bloom glow is
Interference
Slider — adds a color interference pattern to the bloom for a more complex optical effect
Radius
Slider — controls how far the bloom glow spreads from bright areas
Power
Slider — adjusts the falloff curve of the bloom. Higher values concentrate the glow closer to bright areas
Debug
Checkbox — shows a debug view where the screen turns black and only the bloom-affected areas are visible. Use this to see exactly where bloom appears and adjust settings accordingly. Disable when done

Using Debug Mode

Enable Debug to see exactly where bloom is appearing — the screen goes black and only glowing areas are shown. Adjust Intensity, Radius, and Threshold until the bloom looks right, then disable Debug to see the final result.
