Generate Geometry
The Generate Geometry section lets you create basic 3D primitive shapes directly inside iJewel Playground. This is useful when you want to quickly test materials, experiment with lighting setups, or add simple objects to your scene without importing anything from external 3D software.
Where to Find It
This section is located on the right panel, inside the Scene tab, in the Generate Geometry section.
Available Shapes
The section provides six buttons, each generating a different primitive shape:
Generate Plane
A flat rectangular surface — useful for floors, walls, or material previews
Generate Sphere
A round shape — great for testing reflections and material properties
Generate Box
A cube — a simple shape for testing materials on flat surfaces and edges
Generate Circle
A flat circular disc
Generate Torus
A donut-shaped ring — particularly useful for previewing ring materials and finishes
Generate Cylinder
A cylindrical tube — good for testing materials on curved and flat surfaces together
Once generated, the shape appears in the scene and in the Hierarchy. You can then select it, apply materials, adjust transforms, or use it alongside your imported models.
